Crisis Support Therapy Partners

Our Accomplishments

Since our inception, CST Partners has actively addressed the effects of trauma in communities clinics and in house treatment offerings. We collaborate with communities and individuals to embody support, resilience, and illuminate hope amidst the shadows of suffering. Post-traumatic stress is a heavy burden which can leave lasting effects that reach throughout a community.

Our effort in Uvalde

January 23, 2023 ~ Service Clinic

CST Partners' team of 9 therapists and volunteers provided services that included CranioSacral, Lymphatic Drainage, and Art and Sound Therapy to some of Uvalde's most vulnerable survivors from the May 24th school shooting.

We heard heartbreaking accounts of that notorious day and equally gut-wrenching stories of what it's like to survive such an event. This small community is forging ahead and the services provided by CST Partners meaningfully complement other resources in the area.

One CST Partners Program Participant – a hard-working father of two surviving sons – was deeply moved by the simple fact that our therapists listened to him and honored his voice. There were mothers who eagerly brought their children and received healing care themselves. The children were especially receptive to therapy and expressed great interest in return visits.

This second Service Clinic doubled our community impact with twice the number of volunteers and participants involved. We are eager to return in April for our third Service Clinic.

Our effort in Nashville

August 25 - 26, 2023 ~ Service Clinic

In 2023 CST Partners responded to the tragic loss of 6 cherished members of The Covenant School community in Nashville, TN. Highlighted in our work with Nashville was the impact these crisis events have on the community as a whole. Fortunately, we connected with a support center that had been established locally, and became aligned with their efforts. As we welcomed the people seeking relief and recovery from their crisis we saw how deep the wounds went. The networks of connection behind the people who lost their lives.

During the time we served in the Covenant community, we encountered individuals at many different points in their healing process.

As we look back on the weekend of Aug 25th & 26th, we are filled with gratitude and a sense of unity that words can hardly capture. The service clinic, organized by CST Partners, brought together an incredible group of individuals, organizations and businesses, all driven by a common goal: to provide healing and support.

During those two remarkable days, survivors, counselors, and first responders gathered at the clinic to find solace and healing. It was a time of shared empathy and understanding. A space where the wounds of the past were met with compassion and care. The therapies, including CranioSacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, sound therapy, and breathwork, offered a moment of respite, promoting relaxation and soothing the stress that had been held for so long.

The success of the service clinic was made possible by an incredible network of support. We were humbled by The Covenant School, Covenant Heals, and Rooted Counseling Center, who played an integral role in making this event so effective. Their dedication to healing was a guiding light through our time there. Furthermore, the outpouring of support from local businesses and community leaders was truly heartwarming. Together we created an environment of care and unity where survivors and supporters found solace in a collective effort.

As we reflect on this journey, our hearts are filled with gratitude. While we cannot erase the pain of the past, we can create moments that shift toward healing, unity, and hope. Our experience with them was a testament to the power of community, compassion, and coming together to make a difference.

Our effort with the Texas Foods

Summer of 2025 ~ Service Clinic

The summer of 2025 brought a crisis event directly to our doorstep with the experience of loss from the Central Texas floods. Families from all over, many originating from Dallas, and Houston, lost numerous children and loved ones during a powerful storm that resulted in flooding that devastated a children's summer camp and surrounding communities. Seeing so many that were affected locally reminded us that our work serves all who are in the process of crisis recovery and inspired us to hold our first clinic outside the purview of school shootings.

Our outreach took the form of weekend clinics locally in Dallas, and coordinated alongside an additional office in Houston, to serve two major population centers which experienced significant losses.

Working with our home community gave us the opportunity to reimagine how we can expand our capacity to support those in need. As a result, we are now working toward a new program that will allow our outreach to greatly support our community and provide the framework for rolling out the same support in other communities as well.
